Feeling Like It's Summer Time

Time for an update!

Momma turned 55 last week! We had a little BBQ and she loved having all of her grand-babies around to sing to her.. and of course I loved playing with those babies just as much : )

Ivy Lucile
Karson Olivia
Halley, Sayer Dax, and Ivy

I tagged along with Serena and Kyle to Wyatt's baseball game.. Rawlee and Karson had my camera the entire time. Needless to say, I have super cute pictures from that.

Serena and Rawlee
Wyatt's "awesome" face!
Of course most of the pictures were direct face shots : )

I have been trying for over a month to find a onesie for this little man that says something about how awesome I, his aunt, am..... FINALLY!!!! Babies R Us, 7 dollars. He wears it perfectly.

He's too cute!

Sunday night Serena, Kyle, and myself made our own pasta! Kyle found a pasta press at Ross for 20 bucks. It was awesome, and delicious.

Serena cannot make a normal face in pictures...

YUM
Since Chris is gone his spot at the table was empty, it was weird/sad.... so Rena brought the bear out. This is our couple photo... I miss the real Christopher. I know it's hard to believe... but the bear didn't cut it!

Week one down, Adios!

My Sweet Doggy

My dog Nephi (Nee-Fee) is half chihuahua and half... something else. She hates water, but loves chasing ducks. So much that she ends up running away into the water with her leash on. She is too slow to catch them.. I just love watching her try! Last weekend my parents, Halley, and myself went down to Roper Lake and Nephi got to join! And of course I got pictures of her lake adventures....

She tries so hard to get those duckies : )

And when she realizes she can't, she swims right back!

Another Adventure

Over spring break my parents and I drove up to Idaho Falls, Idaho. My sister up there, Natalie, had decided to sell their camping trailer. So, obviously, my parents needed to buy it : ) haha. We had a blast on the trip. My parents are so goofy, and I am very certain we laughed the entire time. It was pretty nice to have a few days of an actual winter... even though it's spring! While in Idaho Falls we really just tried to hang out. We shopped a lot, ate a lot, and spent the rest of the time inside! My sisters' family just moved so it was fun to see their new place. And it was so much fun to play with my nieces! I miss those goofy girls so much. Jazzlynn Rose is 6 years old, and Daegen Starr is 3. We were sad to leave the babies and my sweet sister, and I'm praying they get the opportunity to move closer to home SOON!

Photos that captured some love:

This is how he acted the entire trip^

Daddy and Baby D

Just hangin out during a photo shoot... Jazz got ahold of my camera... haha

Another month over

February is gone?! I don't quite know how to feel, there will be a lot of things happening in the next few months. Spring break, Chris leaves (multiple times, and then for the summer), the Grand Canyon hike, end of school, and I'm off to Texas to bring back my beloved Destiny for the rest of the summer! It's all going to happen so fast! Where's the pause button when you need it?

Well, I have no intention of leaving out pictures...

A couple weekends ago it rained, and Chris drove us up to South Mountain where I snapped these. There was a rainbow, and the raindrops on the windows were so perfect they didn't look real. I love everything about this

Next on the list, my tarantula Giacomo molted! He is a Mexican Red Rump and after he molts his legs are a gorgeous black velvet and his rump is bright red : )

This last weekend Chris and I had a double date with Serena and Kyle. We had intended to go to the Arizona Science Center, but that plan failed. So Serena came up with our plan for the night! We all squished in my lovely buggy and drove to The Nile where we watched THE AQUABATS! It was quite a fun night..

I guess we aren't the most photogenic couple.. Ha

By the end we were all exhausted. But we finished off the night with subs and some more rain!

The end

Shmalentines

Multiple times I told Chris I wanted him to just plan something for us to do for the oh so special Valentines Day. And just as many times, Chris didn't do it. So I told him I'd settle for the cliche dinner and a movie date... and then he came up with this..

By South Mountain you can ride horses! In a group we got to ride for about an hour to a steak house where we had dinner, and then rode back to the stables. It was Christopher's first time on a horse and it was tons of fun. He did a pretty good job in his last minute planning : )

His horses name for the night was Shadow, and they were BFFs

My horse was named Megan, I liked her. But she tried to eat EVERYTHING we passed on the trail

Here's just a few of us together. Because we are just so cute. One of the guys guiding us on the trail was kind enough to snap a few photos for us too!

I love this one^

Such a great night, I know you'll read this. So thank you again Bakey pie. You're my favorite.

I love it, and I hope every one else had a splendid Valentines Day as well!

Life.. And Such

This post will be full of pictures, because I like them. And it's just easier for you to look at what's been going on when I don't feel like typing a 9 page post for you to READ. : ) You're welcome!

Haha, well I will say a little bit.. The last month was full of friends and family time. Destiny was home from Texas.. baby Ivy was born.. my sister Natalie drove down from Idaho to visit.. Christmas came.. along with my sweet Christopher's birthday.. we played in the SNOW with Kevin, Heather, and cute little Preston.. then the new year came.. and Destiny went back to her beloved Texas. I loved the time I did get to spend with everyone, and now it's back to school!

Happy 2011 : )

Catching up..

So I've given up on the 30 day deal, obviously, and in doing so I've also completely stopped blogging. Now I'm here to update : ) Not many people follow me, but that's okay. Blogging gives me something to do now that classes are over. Since I last blogged.. in October? Not a TON has happened, but here it is..

Pumpkin carving at Serena and Kyle's house

Disneyland and Legoland with my sister Tiesha and her family

Thanksgiving football

Gingerbread houses

Saturday we made and sold bows/flowers on clips and headbands at the Winter Night Boutique. It was pretty successful, very fun, and Tiesha's was the first to sell : ) Baker took Serena, Kyle, and me to see the meteor shower Monday night, I loved it. His count of shooting stars is still higher than mine. I got an A in my child development class, and a high B or an A in my Psych class... I'm feeling accomplished. And now Destiny is home for break which makes me so excited!!!I believe that's a substantial post, yeah? I'll try and post again with pictures of our adventures, so au revoir until then.
