My Baby is One?

I cannot even believe it. Everett is the smartest, sweetest, funniest little thing that has ever happened to me. He started walking a little before 11 months, he has 6.5 teeth, and weighs 20 pounds! He loves Yo Gabba Gabba. It is the only show that he actually watches and dances to. He has the most perfect giggle and I love to watch him do ANYTHING. He has grown so quickly that I am not even sure it's been a whole year....... I am the luckiest mom ever. I can't wait to see him be a big brother to this little girl coming along! AH! I decorated his high chair the morning of his birthday then we spent the day as a family at the Phoenix Children's Museum, which was amazing. The Saturday after his birthday we had a party. We did a Yo Gabba Gabba theme, of course. Thank you to all of those that helped and those who came to celebrate, it turned out so amazing and so so fun. He is definitely one lucky guy to have such amazing family and friends!

I had a ton of help with the foods from my siblings, but I was really proud of the things I did make for the party. Out of poster boards I made the pin the eye on Muno game, I painted Brobee for the bean bag toss, and I made all the cakes! Ev loved his smash cake until it ended up all over his face and head... eyes included. haha! The pictures of the present openings are hilarious. All the kids "helped" Everett open his gifts. They surrounded him and would tear the paper then throw the gifts at him. Awesome.

A special THANKS to my sister Halley and her sister-in-law Ella for letting Brobee come to the party! Everett was head over heels for it! Seriously, amazing.

Everett's SECOND Easter!

It's hard to believe that last Easter Ev was only a few days old. Now the goober is all over the place. I surprised Chris with little Easter baskets for the family. Ev got a cute little Muno, a Yo Gabba Gabba t-shirt, and some Captain America keys. He was in heaven. I loved watching it. After church we went to Grandma Bakers for an Easter egg hunt. I was incredibly surprised how into it Everett was. I expected him to just follow Preston or something, but he was all about it! Love how smart he is! And loooove that he loves his cute Baker cousins!

The Teen Weeks of Pregnancy

It is safe to say I will never be happier to see the first trimester go. I was so sick! I never felt sick with Everett, unless I had just gone too long without eating..... I lost about 5 pounds total and finally gained it back at about 20 weeks. The teen weeks sucked, but now we know why this one was so different than last time. BECAUSE IT'S A GIRL!! Duh! I could not be more excited. Chris is crazy nervous about raising a girl, but I think it will be a hoot. We have a few names we like, the one I thought was THE ONE was very quickly doubted when Chris said it sounds like a stripper name. :( It could still be the one. Or maybe it's one I haven't come up with yet. Who knows. We have until August to decide! Here are my belly pictures from 17 and 19 weeks. I'll do another update later with later weeks.

This little girl moves like crazy already, first started around 17 weeks. She is a definite goof ball and I cannot wait to meet her.

Our Blessed Babe

On March 6th we blessed our sweet Everett. We kept putting it off for numerous reasons, but I feel SO SO SO SO much better now that it is done. I cried during the blessing of course. Our family was all there and I know they don't know much it really meant to us, we felt so much love in that sacrament meeting! It was unbelievable. Thank you!

A Little Snow Excursion

There was a big storm that left us some snow up around Payson so we took Ev to play, he loved it for a few minutes!

Our Cruise into Mexico

Every year the company Chris works for rewards their workers with a trip if they can meet a certain level. Chris sold enough accounts last year to go on the trip, which was a cruise to Mehico. I was really excited. A day before we were supposed to leave Chris started feeling sick. The flu was going around and I was PRAYING he hadn't caught it... but he had. He didn't want to skip the trip so we left our little munchkin Everett with my family. Shout out to my mom, dad, and sisters for all their help. We drove to California with another couple, picked up another guy they work with, then got dropped off in Long Beach where the ship was docked. Chris went straight to the room to sleep and I went straight to the food. I had heard the food is the best part, but I wasn't very impressed. I was only about 8 weeks pregnant so my senses were a little off. The ship was crazy. So much to do, and way too many kids. There was ping pong, mini golf, a water slide, a few pools, decks to lay out on, comedy shows at night, and a ton of stuff. We did almost nothing the majority of the time we were on the ship. There was no charge for room service so with Chris feeling like crap we just ordered in and enjoyed not having to get out of bed. We ported first in Cabo, just for a few hours. We ate some yummy food, walked around, I snorkeled a little, and then we got back on the ship. We were docked in Puerto Vallarta a day later. Chris was starting to feel better and we didn't have to be back on the boat at any certain time so we went exploring. We laid on the beach drinking pina coladas (which are my favorite thing ever, any icy frozen drink is delicious to me), we walked around a market, found a candy store, and ate lunch on the beach. The next day we did a little more of the same stuff. The ship ended up having some sort of issue and needed to be docked another day for repairs so we went to the mall to get wifi on our phones to let everyone know what was happening. I had a pretty large melt down when they made the announcement that we weren't leaving, but it just made coming home to my baby even better! We bought him a sweet little poncho and he is too cute in it. Now for pictures!
